This working group, chaired by Alex Brisbourne, aims at providing an inventory of mobile instrumentation in Europe and its surroundings, and experiments in which mobile equipment is used. Deployments of broad-band stations longer than one year are listed in the station database for Europe and the Mediterranean of Working group 1.

Database update

Working group 3 of ORFEUS maintains a database of portable seismic instruments in use by European institutions. These can be either broadband or short pe riod instruments suitable for temporary deployment on arrays for detecting earthquake or controlled source signals.
