Station Metadata
This is an overview of metadata for waveform data provided by ORFEUS
Data Center (ODC).
Metadata describes the characteristics of a seismic station and contains
information like station coordinates, instrument response, digital filters,
and data compression type. The metadata is stored in dataless SEED volumes
at the ODC. A dataless SEED volumes contains no waveform data.

as dataless SEED files, according to the FDSN network code.

SEED headers - a history of updates
Problems in dataless SEED volumes may be detected by our Quality Control
monitor. We keep track of
changes or known problems in dataless SEED files.
Overall system responses are visualized in
graphical form.
