The breqfast request handler can be used to request waveform data in mini-SEED as well as full-SEED volumes. Also dataless SEED volumes can be requested. In order to get your request through successfully, make sure you construct your request line in the following format:

The format of your data can be specified in the email subject field, no subject will result in full-seed output, subject "miniseed" will result in miniseed output and subject "dataless" will result in dataless-seed volumes.
Furthermore, your message must at least contain the four following input lines preceding the request lines:

| your email address (progress notifications will be sent to this address) | |
| .LABEL | this will be used as the output directory on the ORFEUS ftp |

For more information, you can refer to the IRIS breqfast manual. Note however, that at ORFEUS, only full-SEED, mini-SEED and dataless SEED data can be requested for a certain time-interval through ftp.
