ORFEUS Data Center (ODC) archives seismological waveform data from the
<a href="http://www.orfeus-eu.org/Data-info/vebsn.html" target="_blank"> VEBSN  </a> (Virtual European Broadband Seismograph Network)
a pool of broadband (BB) seismograph stations 
(<a href="http://www.orfeus-eu.org/Data-info/VEBSN-station-map.html" target="_blank"> map</a>) 
operated by seismological observatories in and
around Europe.

ODC provides direct access to VEBSN 
<a href="ftp://www.orfeus-eu.org/pub/data/continuous/" target="_blank">waveform data,</a>
and related
<a href="ftp://www.orfeus-eu.org/pub/data/metadata">metadadata</a>,
from about
<a href="http://www.orfeus-eu.org/Data-info/vebsn-contributors.html" target="_blank"> 600 stations</a> 
from nearly
<a href="http://www.orfeus-eu.org/Data-info/vebsn-network_table.html" target="_blank">60 networks</a>, between 1988 and present.

automatic phase pick <a href="http://www.orfeus-eu.org/Data-info/time-residuals.html"> time residuals  </a>
and
automatic magnitude residuals (<a href="http://www.orfeus-eu.org/Data-info/comparing-magnitudes.html"> Mb  </a>,

The ODC is linked to other European data centers, forming the

EIDA (European Integrated Data Archive).
This integrated data archive infrastructure provides transparent access to the data in all paricipating 
archives
(<a href="http://www.orfeus-eu.org/Data-info/EIDA-map.html" target="_blank"> map</a>). 
All data are accessible in a unified way through ArcLink, a protocol connecting the distributed
archives. All data from the VEBSN are available within EIDA.
